Geneva is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Geneva follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Hibachi tables were full, so we sat at a regular table but were still able to order hibachi. I ordered the filet & lobster. While eating my filet, I found what appeared to be either a beard hair or a pubic hair on my steak. Completely disgusting. I showed the waiter, and his response was, βIβm bald, so itβs not mine.β Not exactly the professional response I was expecting. I asked for another filet to be made, but what came out was definitely not filet. It was thin, dry, and completely inedible. Then when the check came, I was still charged for my original hair infused filet. After I questioned it, the waiter said heβd remove the filet charge, but only charged me for the lobster instead. The courteous thing to do wouldβve been to remove the entire contaminated meal from the bill. Between the food issue, the poor response, and the service, this was a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and go to the South Elgin location instead, much cleaner and much better service.

We had a nice family dinner where everyone could order what they wanted. I had the steak and scallops, which came with soup and salad, and I also got the additional sushi roll and dessert for $5.

We usually frequent the north Randall location but we were in the area and stopped in for the first time. Did not disappoint. Great service. The restaurant is a little dated and small. The bathroom could have used some attending. We ordered a metric ton of sushi and everything was top notch. I especially enjoyed the tuna roll which must have had the higher grade fatty tuna because it was better than the sashimi tuna.

We had a group of six reservation. We were seated not long after our time. They gave us warm hand towelettes to clean our hands. They were quick to take and bring drink orders. Then providing our food orders went smoothly. Our soup was hot and flavorful. The salad was small, mostly lettuce. I really enjoyed the hibachi show. I had ademame appetizer, good taste. Followed by their fried rice which had great flavor. I had the hibachi chicken and garlic shrimp. The chicken tasted wonderful. The shrimp a little overcooked and not as much garlic as I would have liked. Overall a pleasant evening out.

The food is phenomenal! The kids absolutely loved the fried rice and adults couldn't stop eating the sushi! The staff was also very hospitable. We came at around 7:00pm when practically all the tables were occupied, but the staff made room for us nonetheless! Benjamin, our server, was so sweet and attentive, always making sure we were having the best experience! If you are a fan of sushi and are in Geneva, this is the place to go!
